Bright Grey and Scot Prov to announce one of two G-day pipeline strategies

clock

Bright Grey and Scottish Provident has confirmed that it will be announcing its G-Day pipeline strategy in September.

It will take one of two forms; an idea not dissimilar to Ageas' G-day promise launched mid-July; or a completely different take of its own.

Roger Edwards, managing director of Bright Grey and Scottish Provident, said: "Everybody has to get robust legal opinion. Ageas has obviously had its own legal opinion and is very confident.

"We have two ideas on the table which we are certainly looking at. There is a very fine line to be drawn between what is legal and what is not."

Edwards added the final strategy choice rested primarily on what would make advisers' lives easier and secondly, what was the most legally robust.
