CIExpert has announced enhancements including the addition of four past providers to the database, meaning advisers can analyse 40 providers with over 250 policies when re-broking an critical illness existing policy.
Guided by members' preference, Standard Life, Canada Life, Manulife and Albany Life have been added to the historic database.
A number of enhancements have also been made to the user interface and the site is now device responsive.
Alan Lakey, director of CIExpert said:"There has been much talk in the industry about the use of technology to bypass the advice process but we believe there is a huge opportunity to improve both the efficiency and quality of advice byputting high quality tools in the hands of advisers.
"With a constant flow of new policy enhancements it is often the case that an adviser may find that their clients existing policy can be replaced with a new one providing significantly improved cover."
