British Friendly launches IP app

British Friendly has launched a quote app for its range of Income Protection products.

Advisers with iPhones or iPads can download the free 'BFS IP' tool and be able to quote premiums for any of the insurer's Income Protection products by using simple slide bars to confirm the length and amount of cover.

Prices appear on the same page in real time and as the app holds all premium rates advisers do not need an internet connection to obtain quotes.

Damian O'Connor, principal at Roxburgh Financial Management, said: "The new quote app from British Friendly is great for advisers who specialise in Income Protection because it allows us to access quotes for each IP product immediately.

"The slide bars are really simple to use and prices appear on the screen in real time, which is great for clients too."

The free app is available now through iTunes.
