The Protection Review has named Owain Thomas as Protection Journalist of the year 2012 for his work on COVER Magazine.
Praising his "fresh and insightful approach" the Review also highlighted his excellent use of social media in getting COVER's message across to the widest audience.
Now working as senior reporter on COVER's sister magazine Workplace Savings & Benefits, Thomas said: "It is a huge honour and I'm delighted to receive industry recognition for my efforts on COVER Magazine.
"It was a great sector of the financial services industry to cover, although in my new role I'm lucky to still be covering the group side of the industry."
