Doodson Broking Group aquires firms

Doodson Broking Group has aquired two key insurance brokers.

In addition the firm has opened a new office in Northern Ireland and been appointed as an official Lloyds broker.

The acquisition incorporates London based entertainment and leisure industry specialist Albemarle Insurance Brokers Ltd and Blackburn based construction specialist Sumner Insurance Services Ltd.

Based in Cheshire, Doodson Broking Group has four core divisions; entertainment, corporate, motorsport and private client. The group now wishes to enhance its core business development strategy of niche market expansion.

The Doodson Broking Group's advances in the insurance industry were further reinforced this week by the opening of Doodson Motorsport in Belfast.

Neil Clayton, Managing Director of Doodson Broking group commented: "We have now made four acquisitions since March 2008 and where the opportunity exists to find niche businesses which fits culturally, we will continue to expand.".
