Friends Provident International has launched an online seminar looking at Inheritance Tax (IHT).
The provider says the online seminar is aimed at advisers who are both new to the subject or looking to update their knowledge.
It explains what IHT is and takes a look at how trusts can be used for effective estate planning.
The first part explains what domicile means, how to use gifting exemptions and how to insure the IHT liability, while the second looks at the use of IHT planning products in the market place and how these can help advisers provide their clients with maximum IHT flexibility.
Peter Dodds, head of marketing at Friends Provident International said: "As the IHT nil rate band of £325,000 has been frozen for the next four years, the number of people being affected by it is set to increase.
"We know this topic can be complex so because of this we have designed the online seminar to help advisers who are either new to IHT planning or who wish to gain a more in-depth understanding."
The seminar is available for advisers to view now and those who watch it are eligible for CPD points.
