Royal London increases protection sales by 24%

Royal London has announced that its intermediary protection business has increased by 24% compared to the previous period last year.

The insurer's sales figures reached £287m at 30 June 2016, up from £231m at 30 June 2015 Debbie Kennedy, head of protection at Royal London Intermediary said:"The growth in sales shows that the work we did to review and improve all aspects of the way we do business when we brought the Bright Grey and Scottish Provident brands together under Royal London is working for advisers and customers.
