L&G hires Fitzgerald to Workplace Health & Protection business

Legal & General has appointed Colin Fitzgerald to the role of distribution director for Legal & General's Insurance Workplace Health & Protection team.

He has over 30 years' experience in group employee benefits and healthcare and most recently held the role of head of partnerships & affinities in Bupa's Corporate Sales team. 

Prior to that Fitzgerland was director of national accounts at Unum for 11 years.

Martin Noone, managing director of Legal & General Workplace Health & Protection said: "I am delighted that Colin has joined the management team. Colin brings extensive market knowledge, experience and relationships and a reputation as an effective senior manager.

"I am confident that he will make a significant contribution to Legal & General".
