Steve Casey and Peter Thomas are no longer with AIG Life as the insurer revealed it has created a new distribution structure which includes the appointment of ex-Friends Life's Mark Anders.
COVER can exclusively reveal that Steve Casey, head of marketing & propositions (pictured) at AIG Life, and Peter Thomas, operations director at AIG Life, are no longer with the insurer.
Mark Anders, previously sales and marketing director at Friends Life has now joined AIG Life as Partnerships Director in the new distribution structure.
He previously worked at AIG Life leading the sales channel when it was part of Fortis/Ageas. He will take on this new role with effect from 3 May 2016.
AIG Life said Intermediary and Partnerships channels are being developed to deliver dedicated sales, marketing and propositions support for these specialist channels.
In addition, Vicky Churcher, who currently leads the Sales team, will become Intermediary Director.
Adam Winslow, CEO of AIG Life said, "This new structure allows us to develop exciting new propositions and build on the strong relationships we have with the Intermediary sector, as well as provide specialist support to the Partnerships market.
"Vicky has played a crucial role in building AIG Life's highly-regarded intermediated business and it's right that she leads our growth in this important market. At the same time, I am delighted that Mark will be joining the team to lead AIG Life's relationship with new partners and their customers."
AIG Life declined to comment on the departure of either Casey or Thomas.
