Bupa has revealed plans for a £2.9m ‘Superclinic' at Canary Wharf's Crossrail Place development to act as a ‘one stop shop' for people to manage their healthcare.
The Superclinic will provide health assessments, GP appointments, dental, physiotheraphy and sports technician services at the same clinic.
There will be eight dental surgeries and 17 consultation rooms at the 8,000 square foot health and dental centre.
Travel vaccinations are also available and the Superclinic will offer appointments at evenings and weekends.
The Superclinic will be open to everyone regardless of whether they have private medical insurance or not.
Research from Bupa also revealed 42% of people spend five or more hours a month managing and maintaining their health and wellbeing.
The majority (58%) said that access to healthcare services digitally would make daily management of their health and wellbeing easier.
Richard Bowden, managing director of Bupa UK, said: "Understandably people's needs are changing and they want different things from healthcare.
"That is why, over the next three years, we will be investing heavily in our products and services to ensure they meet our customers' needs and help to tackle the UK's biggest healthcare challenges."
