The COVER Excellence Awards 2014 took place yesterday to recognise exceptional protection and health insurance products, providers and intermediaries.
The event was held at the Victoria Park Plaza in London and was hosted by ex-England and Bath rugby player Gareth Chilcott.
Exeter Family Friendly won both best individual private medical insurance provider and best individual income provider.
Aviva also took away trophies for best group private medical insurance and individual critical illness.
In the intermediary categories, Lifesearch scooped a double win for Best Use of Social Media and Best Customer Service.
The coveted Individual Achievement Award went to Roy McLoughlin, Peter Le Beau, Kevin Carr and Karin Lloyd for their work on the Seven Families initiative.
