Now Health International has announced premium and benefit changes to its policies.
The international insurer has launched reviews for their AXA-underwritten business, their admitted Singapore product fronted by Tenet Sompo and their admitted China product fronted by Minan.
For the AXA-underwritten business, Now Health has secured the ability to write groups of 5-9 employees on a Medical History Disregarded basis.
For those clients resident in Africa, the area of coverage discount has been improved from 5% to 10%.
Base rates for both individual and group business will increase from between 2.5% to 5% depending on the geographical area chosen.
For the insurer's Admitted Singapore business, enhancements to the renal failure and dialysis, hospital cash and ancillary charges benefits have been made.
A new additional option for the Essential plan has also been added, specifically for Singapore members, offering a small amount of cover for out-patient treatment, physiotherapy care and the maintenance of chronic conditions.
Based rates for both individual and group business will increase from between 10.5% to 12.8% depending on the plan option chosen.
And for the admitted China business, child-only policies are closed to new business from 11 July and renewal options for existing customers are available on a case-by-case basis.
The organ transplant and maternity benefits have been amended, two new exclusions have been introduced for pre-existing medical conditions and external prosthesis, and a new defined term ‘Related conditions' has been added.
