Westfield Health has unveiled a series of free IFA roadshow dates, in a bid to debunk the myths surrounding health cover and help boost advisers' income.
The lunchtime Adviser Healthcare Roadshow is set to visit six UK locations from 1 April 2014, and aims to help advisers identify new sales opportunities with their clients.
Steve Sharrock, head of intermediary sales at Westfield Health, said only 35% of firms offer their workforce health insurance and that there is a "massive opportunity" for advisers to grow their revenue.
He added: "However, we also recognise that there are a lot of false perceptions around selling health cover, such as a belief that it's complicated, or that it doesn't offer enough commission.
"We have designed these roadshows to debunk these myths and help advisers recognise the huge opportunities that lie within the corporate health cover market at present."
The roadshows, which are free of charge and include lunch, will take place at:
• 1 April: Livingston - Best Western Hilcroft Hotel
• 2 April: Leeds - Novotel Leeds Centre
• 3 April: Manchester - The Lowry Hotel
• 8 April: Birmingham - Jurys Inn Birmingham
• 9 April: London - The Gherkin, 30 St Mary Axe
• 10 April: Bristol - Bristol Marriott Hotel
