NEW COVER INSTANT POLL - Critical Illness

clock • 1 min read

In this month's poll sponsored by Zurich, COVER is asking: When advising on Critical Illness what factor is most important to you when selecting a provider?

Do you focus on price, number and coverage of conditions, or a combination of both?

Cast your vote by visiting the poll on the bottom of the front page.

In last month's COVER poll we asked: Given the imminent passing of the Care Bill and a requirement for local authorities to offer financial advice, are you actively considering the long term care market?

A third of respondents (35%) said no, as it was not in their business plan. Next, a quarter (25%) said they wouls not consider the market as it was too distressing.

However, just over a fifth (22%) were on the fence, saying they would need to know a lot more about this before deciding.

Finally, just under a fifth (18%) confirmed they were actively considering the long-term care market.
