Protection aggregator Payingtoomuch.com has launched a ‘Find an Adviser' service for consumers and is inviting advisers to join.
The capability will mean website visitors will be given the option to choose from financial advisers in their local area who have agreed to provide 30 minutes free financial advice.
Payingtoomuch.com will email the local adviser firm as per the consumer request with no charge for the lead.
The ‘Find an Adviser' service will work as part of the website's affiliate scheme, PTM Partners, where advisers can set up a branded version of Payingtoomuch.com as a non-advised service for clients.
A number of firms have already joined the scheme including Chartered Financial Advisers, Skerrits, Plan Money and The Women's Wealth Expert.
Michael Ward, managing director of Payingtoomuch.com, said: "Payingtoomuch.com is founded on a life and pensions base rather than a car insurance one and so we are adviser friendly. We know sometimes our clients want advice and we want to be able to put forward suitable professionals to them.
"We are about to launch a market leading annuity service which we feel needs to be backed up by an advice option for larger fund sizes so issues like flexible drawdown, phased retirement and fixed term annuities can be discussed."
He added the aim was to add more qualified advisers to the scheme.
