Adviser network Tenet has given the seal of approval to a critical illness comparison website for its members to use at discounted rates when assessing the market.
The network has carried out due diligence on the CIExpert online service and agreed to terms for recommended use of the service by appointed representatives and associate advisers.
Alan Lakey, founder of CIExpert and partner principal of Highclere Financial Services, said: "In today's complex times advisers need assistance in their research for both new and replacement business as well as a compliance tool that will provide the analytical resource and audit trail capability to prove best advice."
Keith Richards, group distribution and development director at Tenet, said the tool will help adviser members with effective research for new and existing critical illness plans and to comply with regulatory requirements.
He added: "It will support our members in maintaining knowledge of the critical illness market."
Peter Chadborn, director of Plan Money and Tenet member, has been using CIExpert for some time.
He said: "It has proven to be an invaluable tool for both ensuring our CI research is accurate and thorough and for ensuring our files adhere to high compliance standards".
