PruHealth and PruProtect are to initiate a joint 2013 marketing campaign, highlighting the virtues of their Vitality programme, featuring Jessica Ennis.
The Olympic heptathlon gold medallist has been named as Vitality Ambassador and will share her, and her family's, Vitality experience, offering advice and motivation to take achievable steps towards lifelong wellbeing.
She will participate in a number of marketing activities throughout 2013, starting off with an introduction to intermediaries, PruHealth and PruProtect members and the wider market in January.
This will be followed by regular campaigns through a number of marketing initiatives including online and social media such as Facebook and Twitter and being the face of a new member magazine.
Jessica Ennis says: "Everything I stand for is echoed in the values of Vitality and I hope I can make people see that achieving your personal health goals is really a matter of planning the journey and sticking with it."
According to Nick Read, director of Vitality, Ennis "embodies the values of Vitality: through hard work to change behaviours and improve health, not only do people feel better, but they can get rewarded as well."
