Ellipse has launched its second group income protection product - this time focusing on bonuses for absence reduction and early notifications.
It has also introduced a single relevant life policy to its group life offering and expanded its existing range to scheme of just two members or more.
The insurer's Interact group IP plan offers companies a 10% reduction in their premium if absences are notified promptly, or if no employee is absent for more than four consecutive weeks during a year.
Quotes are available for groups of up to 300 members.
Earlier this year it launched Interact Plus which combined a full absence management programme with a traditional group IP product.
CEO John Ritchie said: "Offering group income protection without some mechanism for either guaranteeing or maximising the chances of absences being notified quickly just doesn't make sense.
"The process is critical, as we need to ensure appropriate, professional intervention can happen early enough to make a difference."
Single relevant life policies will only be offered to clients who also have registered or excepted group life cover with Ellipse while the firm is also targeting the SME sector by increasing its availability from a minimum of five members to two.
