International expat insurance provider improves claims process

clock

International expatriate insurance provider William Russell has improved its out-patient claims procedure in Hong Kong.

The provider will reimburse eligible claims without the need for the doctor to complete the claim form.

Clients in Hong Kong will now instead have to complete a claim form and email it along with itemised bills for treatment received.

Nichola Howard, international claims manager at William Russell, said: "We are pleased to announce these changes to our claims procedure, which will make it easier and more convenient for our Hong Kong clients to receive reimbursement for their everyday medical expenses.

"We are confident that our clients will benefit hugely from the changes, which we hope will further improve our exceptional claims satisfaction survey results."

The change is applicable to both individual and corporate policies, and applies irrespective of whether the scheme is fully underwritten, or underwritten on a medical history disregarded basis.
