AXA PPP International upgrades member support in Africa

AXA PPP International has appointed of AIMS, Medilink and Medscheme (based in Johannesburg, Nairobi and Mauritius respectively) to provide claims assistance services and facilitate members' access to medical treatment across Africa.

Kevin Melton, AXA PPP International's sales and marketing director, said: "I am confident that this development will make a positive difference to members needing medical treatment in what can sometimes be a challenging environment.

"It follows the recent appointment of our dedicated regional sales manager for Africa, Ed Daniels, and it goes to underline the importance of Africa as a market of significant opportunity for providers and distributors of international healthcare cover."
