Adviser resource CIExpert has compiled an assessment of Aviva's extension of cover on its critical illness (CI) policies
Alan Lakey, director at CIExpert, commented on Aviva's changes: "Aviva has significantly up graded its critical illness plan.
"The alterations, which take effect from 16 July, have positioned it towards the top of the CIExpert league tables in terms of potential future claims.
"Previously Aviva has marketed an above aveage and competitively priced plan. this upgrade highlights an ambition to compete at the quality end of the market."
