COVER Excellence Awards and Protection Forum
This year's COVER Excellence Awards will be held in London on 3 October and will mark our 10-year anniversary.
The awards will once again be divided into two categories - provider and intermediary - and will reward high standards of professionalism and outstanding achievement in both the protection and healthcare markets.
The intermediary awards will focus on six key areas: Protection Intermediary of the Year; Healthcare Intermediary of the Year; e-business Award, Marketing initiative of the Year; Outstanding Achievement Award; and Customer Service Award.
The judging panel for these awards will be Anthony Gould, COVER editor-in-chief; Johanna Gornitzki, COVER editor; Clive Waller, senior partner in CWC Research and co-founder of the Income Protection Task Force; Kevin Carr, head of protection strategy, LifeSearch; Nick Kirwan, head of health and protection, Association of British Insurers (ABI); Nick Starling, director of general insurance and health, ABI; Phil Taylor of Health Assured; and Branko Bjelobaba, director of Branko.
In a slight change to last year's events, the COVER Protection Forum will be held before the awards and anniversary party and will be held at the Brewery in London.
Speaking on the day will be a mixture of industry heavyweights from a variety of providers along with the Financial Services Authority. The day will also include a hotly anticipated panel debate. Due to popular demand the day will also feature interactive voting that helped shape last year's agenda.
This event is for intermediaries specialising in the health insurance and protection markets and will include talks and technical sessions as well as expert market insight and sales and marketing advice about a range of topics.
