RGA have added Mark Johnson as business development manager to its marketing team.
Johnson joined from Best Doctors where he was UK sales manager and will report to Jason Hurley, head of sales and marketing at the reinsurer.
He brings more than 25 years of experience in reinsurance, having worked in senior positions in both operational and marketing roles.
Johnson revealed he was pleased to be re-entering the sector.
"It is a good feeling to be coming back into reinsurance. I have missed the cut and thrust of this highly competitive industry, and look forward to helping RGA continue their success of recent years," he said.
Hurley added: "Mark is very well-known and highly respected in the industry and I am certain that he will add significantly to our current team."
