More than 1,000 advisers are now writing protection business through Sesame Bankhall Group's panel following its launch last November, the network has announced.

The Zenith panel is available to Sesame network members along with directly authorised advisers through PMS and Bankhall and includes Aviva, Bright Grey, Friends Life, Legal & General, LV= and Zurich.

George Higginson, chief operating officer at Sesame Bankhall Group, said there is an urgent need for greater levels of protection cover in the UK.

"Having cracked the 1,000 adviser milestone, we look forward to welcoming more advisers into our Zenith proposition and our range of new services that we will be rolling out in the months ahead," he said.
