Aviva cuts prices for CI exclusions

clock

Aviva has introduced premium reductions for when exclusions are applied to its critical illness plans.

Discounts will apply to cancer or multiple sclerosis, and mean customers with pre-existing conditions or a family history will still be eligible for cover.

This change is being implemented immediately, including to all applications currently being processed by the provider.
Michael Whyte, chief underwriter at Aviva, said: "Critical illness cover offers financial support to customers during a particularly difficult time.

"We recognise that every customer is an individual and their circumstances differ. This latest improvement represents another step in us making our cover more accessible, affordable and relevant to our customers."
