Bupa UK has partnered with Babylon to provide a healthcare app offering bookings for video GP consultations, as well as the ability to organise referrals.
The app is available to group private medical insurance (PMI) customers with over 250 employees.
Other features of the app include being able to text medical questions or photos for advice, and being able to manage notes and prescription deliveries through it.
GP consultations can be done directly over a video link, phone or text message, with a Babylon GP.
Aviva launched an app with babylon for group PMI customers in January 2015, while both Health Shield and Vitality launched apps with virtual GP services in 2014.
