Ellipse has launched a new charity initiative where a donation is made to charity for each quote provided.
The recipient charities will be chosen from nominations made by advisers under terms of business with Ellipse by a panel of Ellipse's employees. The charities will be changed every quarter.
Ellipse is a digital group risk insurer offering group life, group critical illness cover and ground income protection.
John Ritchie, CEO of Ellipse, said, "The financial support group risk benefits provide is a vital service, but there are many other needs that families have when a loved one dies or suffers a serious disability. In many cases, those needs are delivered by charities so we wanted to support them and at the same time show that we are all working with the same ultimate aim of providing help where it's needed.
"Our online quotation volumes are increasing all the time, but even at their current levels this initiative will generate several thousand pounds each year. We have had some great suggestions already from advisers for charities to support and will announce the charities selected for the first quarter of ‘You quote, we donate' near the end of the month."
