CIExpert: Royal London's CI upgrade 'refuses to play the conditions game'

CIExpert analyses the latest critical illness upgrades from Royal London.

Following on from 2016 upgrades by LV=, Aegon, Friends Life and Zurich, Royal London has enhanced its menu plan. CIExpert said: "The alterations may be modest in numerical terms but they serve to increase the plan's potential to meet claims. "The alterations fly in the face of those whose methodology is to judge a plan by the number of conditions specifically included. Whilst new conditions have been added a number have been removed as they fall within the new or revised condition wordings."
