Premier Choice Group has appointed former Association of Medical Insurers and Intermediaries (AMII) chairman Wayne Pontin as an independent healthcare consultant.
Pontin had previously left the Jelf Group where he was executive director to invest in specialist healthcare intermediary Postively Healthcare in 2014, which was sold in April 2016.
He was the chairman of AMII, the trade association for private medical insurance intemediaries and insurers, between 2012-2015. Pontin focuses on the SME market.
Meanwhile, eleven new consultants have joined Premier Choice Group since October 2015 bringing the total number of consultants to 62.
