Private Medical Insurance publishers, Craigdallie Publishing of West Sussex, has just published a PMI Handbook for professional advisers seeking information on the different PMI plans available in the UK market.
The 313 page book is designed specifically for intermediaries involved in the PMI sector.
The PMI Handbook is a comprehensive sales-aid and reference source providing cover details on both individual and group policies from 30 insurers on a like-for-like basis.
Each entry contains cover comparisons, commission guides, contact details and special points to note on each contract.
A glossary of the main medical terms is included as well as a contact list of International PMI providers.
The publication is suitable for both intermediaries currently active in PMI and those wishing to break into the market.
All entries are fully approved by the PMI providers concerned.
Andrew Green, compiler of the book said: "The last year has seen an increase in the number of PMI plans available. PMI insurers are continuing to develop their modular concept with customers able to tailor their benefits around a core cover.
"The number of different cover combinations available means the choice is greater than ever before. Intermediaries certainly have their work cut out to keep up with the different options available."
