Canada Life has announced a number of senior management team changes from 1st November 2015, which affect both the Individual Protection and Group Protection leadership.
After almost three years as Group Insurance Sales Director, Jon Ford has been appointed Director of Individual Protection following the launch of Canada Life's new Individual Protection offering in August.
Ford will be leading the transition of the servicing and development of Canada Life's individual protection portfolio.
He will report directly to Doug Brown, UK CEO, Canada Life. Meanwhile, Dan Crook (formerly Head of Sales, Income Protection Proposition) has been appointed as Sales Director for the Canada Life Group Insurance full suite of products.
Rob DeMott, Interim Managing Director, is returning to Canada and has been replaced by Tim Stoves, who previously held the position of Scheme Underwriting Manager.
Matt Pincott replaces Stoves as Scheme Underwriting Manager, bringing experience from his work in the Canada Life Group Insurance scheme underwriting unit.
Jon Ford, Director of Individual Protection, said: "The Protection market is constantly being challenged to grow and following our launch alongside the Underwrite Me comparison service, I am looking forward to taking both the market and ourselves forwards at this exciting time.
"Canada Life's aim is to achieve the same position for the individual protection market as we have for the group insurance market, where we are recognised as a leader in technology and value. I am tremendously excited about being given the opportunity to drive this forward."
