clock

LV= is to hold seven seminars for advisers looking to boost their income protection (IP) sales.

The CPD accredited seminars will be held around the country between 8 July 2015 and 21 July 2015.

Topics covered will include IP and state benefits, making IP affordable for every budget, and tools advisers can use to discuss and demonstrate the value of IP.

The seminars are part of LV='s "Wake up to IP" campaign, a first series of nine seminars was held in January and February 2015.

The seminars will be held in:

  • Brighton
  • Watford
  • Manchester
  • Reading
  • Nottingham
  • Birmingham
  • Bristol

Myles Rix, Managing Director of LV= Protection, said: "These seminars are designed to help advisers overcome the barriers that many face when selling income protection.

"We ran nine of these sessions at the start of the year which had a great response and received such positive feedback that we have organised additional sessions.

"We believe that income protection is the most relevant protection product for working adults in the UK and we are committed to working alongside advisers to ensure that those who would benefit from this cover have some in place.

"These seminars form part of our "Wake up to IP" campaign which aims to provide advisers with the support they need to engage clients."
