Mutual Wesleyan is rolling out the ability for customers to receive advice remotely using Vizolution's screen sharing solution.
vScreen allows a presenter to remotely and securely share visual information with a customer on a real time basis during a call. The session is fully compliant and removes breaks from the sales process as documents can be sent and received digitally in a secure manner.
By removing travel time, Wesleyan has estimated that financial consultants could save up to 2.5 hours per meeting giving them more time to see more customers.
Vizolution CEO Bill Safran said: "Wesleyan's 340 nationwide consultants will use vScreen to discuss a range of financial products with its clients. Some of our customers find savings per session over a physical appointment means vScreen pays for itself with the first session of the month."
Samantha Porter, Wesleyan's group sales and marketing director, said: "Increased customer choice is at the heart of our decision to introduce remote advice. Once a customer has an established relationship with their financial consultant, they do not necessarily want a face to face meeting every time they want to transact business."
