RedArc has announced its support services will be provided for those families who are taking part in the Seven Families initiative.
RedArc's care services will be provided to those being helped by Seven Families, alongside the financial assistance being offered by the initiative equivalent to the maximum income protection they could have had before they came ill.
Support includes a Personal Nurse adviser who provides emotional and practical support as well as arranging for additional help, such as counselling, if necessary.
Canada Life Group Insurance is one of the sponsors providing financial support for Seven Families.
Canada Life Group Insurance announced in October 2014 a renewed contract with RedArc.
Christine Husbands, managing director of RedArc said: "As soon as I heard about the Seven Families initiative, I committed to provide RedArc services to all seven families. We are very pleased to have the opportunity to demonstrate that practical advice and emotional support are every bit as important as financial assistance."
Paul Avis, marketing director of Canada Life Group Insurance said: "I know from experience how important the practical and emotional support, provided by RedArc, can be to our claimants and their families. Their involvement can make a huge difference and, in 2014, we have seen almost 100% of our claimants take up their offer of help.
"Seven Families is an amazing initiative and we are very proud to be one of the sponsors. To know that RedArc is also involved, offering their services to the families benefiting from the financial support is excellent. I'm sure the seven families will find their support very beneficial."
