Healthnet Services buys PMI intermediary Healthtrust Ltd

Healthnet Services Limited has completed the purchase of private medical insurance (PMI) intermediary Healthtrust Limited.

Based in Romsey, Hampshire, Healthtrust specialises in providing individuals and businesses with private medical insurance.

Alistair Sclare, managing director of Healthnet Services said: "I'm delighted that Healthnet Services has been able to complete this acquisition, our first of 2014.

"Healthtrust is a respected health insurance intermediary with over 25 years' experience in the industry and we look forward to continuing to provide their customers with the high level of service they have come to expect."

Adam Sherring, sales director at Healthnet Services said: "We are looking to expand throughout 2014, both organically and via acquisition, and our purchase of Healthtrust has enabled us to kickstart our investment programme."
