Following a pilot programme, Best Doctors has released TraumaCare, a new service for people with injury and accident-related conditions like whiplash, back pain and repetitive strain injuries.
TraumaCare offers access to world-leading experts for second opinions providing diagnosis and treatment reviews. The service works with experts in many fields including neurology, orthopaedics and traumatology.
TraumaCare includes:
• Careline, a dedicated phone support service for people suffering from musculoskeletal conditions or post injury. Offering expert advice on treatment and practical techniques for self-management, Careline can, in some cases, be extended to face-to-face sessions to aid recovery and rehabilitation.
• A Driver Safety programme for motorists that includes tips on safety and comfort.
• Access to Ask Best Doctors, a new online medical information portal offering complementary health and wellness advice.
There is also a personal phone line for patients who need additional support during recovery.
