AXA PPP International has introduced new individual and SME healthcare cover for the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.
Available to new business with immediate effect, The Islands Health Plan offers four cover level options:
Core provides cover for in/day-patient treatment and out-patient surgery and scans as well as benefit for transportation from the Islands to the UK in cases in cases where the treatment a patient requires is not available locally.
Classic builds on the benefits available to Core members with out-patient specialist consultations, complementary practitioner and physiotherapy cover.
There is also up to eight weeks (per membership year) cover for members spending time outside of Europe should they need to access care during this time.
Including cover for out-patient psychiatric treatment, Premier and Ultimate options further extend out-patient choice to include up to £500 per year and no annual maximum, respectively for GP fees.
These two top of the range options also provide cash benefits (with higher reimbursement levels for Ultimate) towards health checks, optical and non-routine dental care and childbirth.
All four options under The Islands Health Plan not only cover treatment in facilities in the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man but also cover in/day-patient care in hospitals across Europe, giving members choice over what best suits their needs.
The Island Health Plan also features:
• 24-hour medical information helpline - for the reassurance of immediate access to qualified healthcare professionals
• MyGlobe online resource - listing AXA PPP International's global network healthcare providers where members can readily identify facilities by country, city and treatment speciality
• Expert case management - helping members affected by serious diagnoses to secure the right treatment, with support throughout their care.
