LifeQuote has teamed up with advisory service What Protect to provide a protection platform which provides both advised and non-advised solutions.
LifeQuote, the intermediary brand of Direct Life and Pensions Services Ltd, has said the online platform will produce quotations and application services for clients who require Life cover, Critical Illness and Income Protection.
Rob Quayle, managing director of Direct Life and Pension Services Ltd said: "We produce a number of branded services for all sorts of people and Whatprotect came along to talk to us. They have a really interesting proposition which is going to help lots of people in the market and we're happy to develop it for them.
"Whatprotect are giving an avenue to people who want to be able to still write protection but haven't got the full authorisation themselves. We've given them a branded site for people to access and write business under the Whatprotect name and brand on a non-advised basis.
"At the same time if there are organisations out there who want to work with Whatprotect and offer online comparisons for consumers to search and do it themselves that way, we do that as well. There are a number of elements for the services depending on where you are in your own business. If you have a book of clients who want to trade, it enables you to trade in the Whatprotect franchise."
