Threadneedle Investments has announced it will be an official partner of the 2013 PruHealth World Triathlon Grand Final and will partner with youth development charity Access Sport.
The Threadneedle Foundation will contribute £25,000 per year over three years to Access Sport, and has issued a challenge to its employees and clients to double this year's donation through fundraising in the lead up to the Triathlon Grand Final in September.
Gary Collins, head of EMEA sales, wholesale for Threadneedle Investments, said: "We're very pleased to be part of the triathlon grand final in London and to be working with Access Sport to support the fantastic work that they do.
"Triathlon is an exciting sport, rapidly growing in popularity around the world. Access Sport is a dynamic charity whose mission is to give more children, particularly in disadvantaged areas, access to a wide range of quality local sport."
Threadneedle Investments will work with Access Sport to promote the charity and raise funds towards its ambition to reach over 9,000 disadvantaged young people in 2013.
The PruHealth World Triathlon Grand Final will take place in London from 11-15 September 2013.
