The market has seen a huge increase in awareness of HIV+ life assurance, as 78% of those with the condition are now aware of available cover, medical IFAs Unusual Risks has said.
In a similar survey conducted only 12 months ago only 20% were aware of insurance availability.
HIV life assurance was introduced by the insurance industry in 2009, since then the number of companies offering the product has steadily increased with 66.6% of providers now offering cover.
Terms and premiums for Life Insurance have continued improve as more companies have entered the market place.
