WPA has made changes to its corporate cash plan.
It has added feature Swift Diagnosis to its NHS Top-Up to cover employees' private consultations and diagnostic procedures. It will be available from 1 April 2013.
According to WPA, the added feature aims to fill the gap between the GP and In-patient care.
It said the development had been added to take advantage of the growing corporate cash plans, broker feedback regarding a product that sits in between cash plans and medical insurance, rising NHS waiting lists.
Adrian Humphreys, managing director of WPA's Corporate Business, said: "Tiered healthcare works for companies that are prepared to challenge what they have done in the past and evolve sustainable and effective benefits for the future."
