An expat insurer has expanded its offering into the Middle East and established its first operations in Dubai.
Andy Grimes, director of Clements Dubai, said: "The MENA region is one of the largest markets as far as client base is concerned. Customers in this region face constantly-evolving risks and need customised unique cover."
The provider said special risk insurance products, such as coverage against political violence and kidnap and ransom, were prominent at the moment amid growing numbers of global corporations, security companies, NGOs and even international schools operating in countries such as Egypt, Tunisia, Libya, Jordan, Iraq and Afghanistan.
Dan Tuman, senior vice president of Clements Worldwide, said there was an "enormous amount of untapped potential" in the Middle East and North Africa regions.
Clement Worldwide currently has offices in Washington D.C. and London.
