Patient experience software has been launched in a bid to support healthcare providers in managing, monitoring and analysing online surveys in line with government targets.
Stalis and IPROS CUBE have announced their partnership to launch the Patient Experience feedback module that allows patients to provide confidential online feedback.
The results can be measured against the Department of Health's quality care targets such as Commissioning for Quality and Innovation (CQUIN) and Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMS), while also being benchmarked against NICE standards.
Stalis and IPROS CUBE stated: "There has been intense scrutiny of patient safety following the recent Francis report, which investigated extremely poor care conditions at Mid-Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust.
"Healthcare providers need support in the delivery of flexible, high-quality, evidence-based services whilst continuously monitoring performance against compliance targets, leading to a more patient-centric NHS."
The cloud-based software allows healthcare providers to design patient surveys specific to their auditing requirements and aims to reduce manual data handling and administration.
Christine Whitehouse, managing director at Stalis, said: "With a drive towards patient empowerment in a more consumer-orientated NHS, there is a clear requirement to ensure healthcare providers meet care quality standards."
