Aviva UK Health appoints Cega as assistance provider

Cega, the international claims and emergency medical assistance provider, has been appointed by Aviva UK Health to support its domestic PMI and individual international PMI policyholders overseas.

The new partnership will see Cega providing a package of international client care that includes 24/7 emergency medical assistance, evacuation and repatriation; including its in-house air ambulance, cost containment, fraud investigation and medical translation capabilities.

Teresa Rogers, International Business Lead, Aviva UK Health, says: "There is a long standing partnership with Cega supporting our travel business and we are confident that members of our Healthier Solutions and individual International Solutions health insurance plans will also have the necessary support and access to expert advice when needed abroad."
