HSF health plan has announced the launch of HSF Virtual Doctor, an online webcam GP consultation service.
HSF Virtual Doctor enables users to have a virtual face-to-face consultation with a practising qualified GP at work, or in the comfort of their home, when it suits them and as often as they wish.
The new service is included on all HSF health plan schemes at no extra cost.
HSF Virtual Doctor also uses a digital ‘whiteboard' that displays state of the art 3D medical images and health information, enabling the patient to have a more complete understanding of their condition.
Stephen Duff, Managing Director at HSF health plan, said: "We believe that having the Virtual Doctor facility available in companies will pay a big role in helping to improve the health and wellbeing of employees and will also provide peace of mind to people worried about injury or illness.
"It is the equivalent of having a company doctor - without having to leave the office. We feel that this additional service reaffirms HSF as the most generous health plan in the UK."
