Medical information provider MorganAsh will provide full outsource underwriting and claims services for a small insurer.

It has signed a contract with Foresters Life in its first move since underwriters joined MorganAsh and extended its tele-interviewing and medical information gathering proposition.

MorganAsh said it expects to extend the full underwriting and claims service to other companies.

Andrew Gething, managing director of MorganAsh, said: "We have gradually been extending our services over the years, and we are happy to now be able to provide a complete underwriting and claims outsource solution.

"For smaller and medium companies, it is clearly cost effective to outsource this service. We will continue to innovate and reduce the time and cost of underwriting."

Euan Allison, managing director of Foresters, said after many years of working with MorganAsh the firm was a natural choice to extend the contract.
