Advisers are demanding greater certainty from insurers on G-day plans.
Protection intermediary LifeSearch said Ageas and LV= pipeline strategies were welcome announcements but with three months until the deadline there was still a "real lack of certainty" on key issues.
Emma Prescott, life office relations director at LifeSearch, said: "The lack of certainty is making it harder for advisers to manage expectations and treat their customers fairly.
"Even providers who have confirmed their plans are lacking detail regarding existing policies, while more than half the market is yet to say anything at all."
Michael Aldridge, sales director at London & Country, said the adviser community "desperately" needed remaining providers to reveal their hand.
He added: "Without this detail it makes client engagement and the ability to manage client expectations difficult at best."
The comments follow the recent London F&TRC Protection Forum meeting which discussed G-day concerns around insurer plans and lack of detail.
Ian McKenna, managing director at F&TRC, said the group welcomed provider progress so far and awaited a significant number of providers to make early notifications of plans.
