A former adviser who won £25,000 in compensation after being unfairly dismissed for 'drunkenly offending' a client is still awaiting her payout months after the case was resolved in her favour.
Amanda Daughters was accused by her former bosses at Aqua Financial Solutions of 'drunkenly abusing' a client and sacked from her position in 2010.
Daughters subsequently won an appeal claim for unfair dismissal in June and was awarded £25,000 in compensation by West Croydon Employment Tribunal.
The judgment said her appeal against her former employer was "well founded".
At the original employment tribunal Daughters admitted to offending a client while drinking alcohol and the tribunal found against her, however, she was granted leave to appeal and was found to have been unfairly dismissed over the January 2010 incident.
Daughters claimed the incident, for which she apologised, was used to oust her from the company after relations with her former boss, Carolyn Bennett, had broken down.
Richard Bray, of the management team at Daughters' new firm Aura Consulting, said the case had been referred to the enforcement department as the compensation had not been paid.
