Unum launches IP website for advisers

Unum has launched a website to help advisers communicate the benefits of income protection to clients.

It aims to make it easier for advisers, employers and employees to access IP information by using simple language, videos and infographics.

The site will also bring together features from current micro-sites ask.unum.co.uk and backupplan.com to enable questions to be asked and content to be shared.

Marco Forato, chief marketing officer of Unum, said: "We are serious about raising people's awareness of IP. The site will be a new resource for advisers, employers and employees alike.

"Together with our TV ads, which are back at the end of September, the new website will bring a back-up plan one step closer to the UK's workforce."
