Friends Life will be running a group protection workshop for intermediaries next week.
The workshop is aimed at giving attendees awareness of the business opportunities and the value group protection can bring to them and their clients.
The workshop topics include:
• The group protection business impact of RDR and the implementation of auto-enrolment in October 2012 - how regulatory reforms will affect intermediaries and how they should be preparing themselves for these changes.
• Added value services for group protection - what the key benefits and opportunities are for intermediaries and their clients.
• Claims management - what the benefits and value of prevention and early intervention activities in successfully managing absence in the workplace.
The workshop will provide the opportunity for consultants to discuss the implications of these upcoming regulatory changes and will provide views on how they should be preparing their businesses and their clients for them.
